I believe that we are all meant to be creative. Exploring our creativity gives us much joy. As Brenda Ueland has written: "There is nothing that makes people so generous, joyful, lively, bold and compassionate, so indifferent to fighting and the accumulation of objects and money" as expressing our creative impulses.
When I am working on a project I am totally drawn in to making choices moment by moment. I escape all other preoccupations. I am free.
We can all become more creative by just taking one baby step a day: sketch one item, splash some paint, write one line that sings, strum one chord and see if you do not feel lighter. Let your inner child out to play and try something that you have never tried before. Your courage will be rewarded.
Taking small steps each day is the key to your growth as an artist.
I love it when a painting turns into a narrative for the viewer.
My watercolours , acrylics and oils explode with colour and movement.
Creativity blesses others. It provides hope and joy for every day.
